Shrimp & Pasta Primavera

McCormick's new "Recipe Inspirations" line is awesome! They give you all the spices you need (in small quantities) at an affordable price along with a nice recipe card that you can hold onto.

Tonight Jason made the "Shrimp and Pasta Primavera."
Here is the recipe directly from the McCormick recipe card that comes with the spice pack (all spices included in pack):

1 1/2 tsp McCormick Dill Weed
1 tsp McCormick Minced Garlic
1 tsp McCormick Minced Onions
1/2 tsp McCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/4 tsp McCormick Thyme Leaves
8 oz. Linguine (whole wheat pasta to make it healthy)
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 1/2 cups assorted cut up vegetables (we used carrots, broccoli, and sugar snap peas)
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grade Parmesan cheese (did not use this on my serving)
2 tbsp butter (used "I Can't Believe it's not Butter" spray instead)
1/2 tsp. salt

1. Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, adding shrimp and vegetables during the last 3 to 4 minutes of cooking. Drain well.
2. Mix remaining ingredients in same saucepan. Bring ot boil, stirring constantly with whisk. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes. Add pasta, shrimp and vegetables; toss gently to coat well. Serve immediately with additional parmesan chese, if desired.

It was extremely filling and delicious!
