Green or Black Thumb?

I just put this year's garden in. I was on a limited budget, but I still think it's pretty. I did some research on plants that do well in the shade since the front of our house gets little to no shade. Azaleas and annuals topped the list. The pink azalea to the far right was from my great aunt's funeral two years ago, it's beautiful. I decided to try two more pink azaleas this year, hopefully they won't die like the ones I put out last year! I also put down some red mulch.

I decided to change the name of my blog to 1,440 minutes after listening to WRBS (christian radio station in Baltimore). The deejay asked, "We have 1,440 minutes in every day, how are you using yours?" For some reason it stuck with me.
