From time to time my blog shares fun places to take little ones in the MD region. What better place to take little ones than the MD State Fair? The rides, the food, the entertainment, the games, the animals... what more could a kid or adult ask for?!
I have incredibly exciting news, as my blog has been contacted by the MD State Fair and I now have 2 Family 4 Packs of tickets to give away! This will be my first contest for this blog and I am literally jumping up and down with excitement! Not only does the pack include 4 tickets into the fair, but 2 ride bracelets too! AMAZING! Here are the two easy steps to enter:
1) Comment below with your favorite part of the MD State Fair! (Or any local fair or carnival!)
2) Share this contest on either facebook, twitter, or email! Simply share the web address:
http://mrsamentmiddleriver.blogspot.com
(If you decide to email it to friends, please carbon copy me at mrsament@aol.com)
The contest will start now and end this Friday, August 23rd at 5:00 p.m. EST. To be fair I will use random.org to select a winner from valid entries!
The MD State Fair runs from August 23-September 2nd and the 4 entry tickets/2 ride bands will be good for one day. I hope that the winners will share pictures! I too will be attending the fair and will be sure to blog about it and share tips for success with kids! A huge shout out the MD State Fair for this awesome opportunity!

DeleteMy favorite thing about the fair is the animals and always seeing a new little one being born and of course all the memories with my Jesse, can't wait to start making new ones with Kenzy and Jesse together!
ReplyDeleteI like trying all of the food
ReplyDeleteI've never been to the MD State Fair (yes, lived in MD my whole life and never been; so sad). But I do love everything abut the Dundalk Heritage Fair. My favorite part is that so much of it is the same every year that it creates wonderful family traditions!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to the MD state fair but my favorite part of any fair is seeing it all through my sons eyes and seeing the excitement on his face.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part is the FUNNEL CAKES! :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the big rabbits and seeing Eric's face light up seeing the animals and big fruits and vegetables.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about the fair is watching how excited my kids are about the rides and the food!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the fair is taking my grandchildren and watching the expressions on their faces whether its seeing the animals or riding the rides.
ReplyDeleteThe food!!! I also love watching Liam get so excited at the petting zoo.
ReplyDeleteI love watching Jake play all the games, eat huge corn dog and ride all the rides :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the MD State Fair was always the swings! Some reason the swings at any other fair or park were never as good!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the state fair is making memories with my children. The excitement on my daughter's face is better than any ride, treat, etc. that I could buy there:)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the fair is the lemon sticks. It's been a tradition in our family since I was a child. Every year, we all go together, and our first stop is at the stick stand. This year we'll be able to include my niece in our tradition. I can't wait to see her face when she eats her first lemon stick!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the fair is sharing a sweet treat with my son. They have the best funnel cakes!! While I love seeing him have fun on all the rides and having fun seeing all of the animals, I absolutely love when we have our moment right before we leave to enjoy a funnel cake together and hear him talk about all of the fun he had.
ReplyDeleteMy kids love to see the animals! A few years ago my daughter was entranced by the beautiful clydesdale horses. I would love to take both of my children this year.
ReplyDeleteMichelle what is your last name? Thanks and good luck!
DeleteMy favorite part of the MD State Fair is getting to spend quality time with my family! Especially enjoying local food from the MD pavilion, fresh ice cream from the Cow Palace and all of the baby animals!
DeleteMy favorite part of the fair is the petting zoo - I love seeing my kids with the animals!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about the Maryland State Fair is the guy in the dunking booth that says over and over "high and dry, high and dry am I". I also love hearing the sound of genuine laughter coming from all the little ones.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about fairs in general is the variety of activities. There is something for every age and every member of a family.
ReplyDeleteShopping and fried food! Woot woot!
ReplyDeleteWhen my children were little I loved the rides. Now I like the entertainment and talking with the media personalities at their booths since I did three years of radio broadcasting locally myself.
ReplyDeleteI love bumper cars, the horses, the funnel cake, and hanging out with friends and family of course!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the fair is seeing all of the animals and getting funnel cake. When I was a child and went to the fair we always got a funnel cake before we left. Now my little girl is 3 and we have been every year since she has been born. She absolutely loves the animals and enjoys the rides. This year should be really fun for her since she is aware of so much more of her surroundings.
ReplyDeleteMy family loves the animals! I personally love the pigs! We also love looking at the photography and all the 4H projects. And before leaving we love to have peach sundaes! Can't wait for this year!
ReplyDeleteI love the baby animals. Its great to see when they are only a few days or hours old.
ReplyDeleteI love eating ice cream and the rides.
ReplyDeleteI love enjoying the atmosphere with my family and looking at the animals.
ReplyDeleteLove that it's one of our family traditions to go every year :) Love the animals, food, and rides! Fun way to wrap up the summer!!
